Common Disciplinary Problems.
Review the four categories of the “Common Disciplinary Problems” described in chapter 13 (attendance problems, dishonesty and related problems, work performance problems, and on-the-job behavior problems) that consider 1-2 situations that you have observed or been involved in.
Write a response to the following questions for each category and bring examples to support your answers:
Describe briefly the background of the disciplinary issue
Identify which steps were followed, omitted, or done poorly according to the “Disciplinary Model” described. Identify the outcome of the situation – discipline issue was resolved and employee stayed employed at the organization, employee was discharged, etc
